Subpar Motorsports was created to allow the three founding team members/drivers a way to do some real racing and not have to explain the cost of said fun to either their significant others or bill collectors. It was after a day of racing at the local autocross for a total of 5 minutes, when they decided it was time for a change. They wanted to get away from the drudgery called autocross and move into real door to door racing action. It was after their first lemons race that the team was completely hooked on racing and the race series. Following this epiphany, they decided that they should not be the only shade tree mechanics that were given the opportunity to participate in this life changing experience. Their goal is to allow people from all walks of life to have the same thrilling experience of being behind the wheel of a real (kind of) race car, in a real (kind of) race. This is when the racing heavens parted, a beam of light shone down and Subpar Motorsports was born. Welcome to the team.
the drivers:
Dustin Nolet
Team Captain
dustin@subparmotorsports.com
Dustin is considered (mostly by himself) to be the fastest driver of the bunch. He is adapt at squeezing every bit of horsepower from the cars, even beyond the point of failure. Dustin has the most experience behind the wheel of a race car and has the natural born ability to understand the cars needs and how they can be pushed just a little faster. "Confidence is strong with this one" Yoda would say if he was at a race, or real for that matter. Becoming a member of Dustin's team will put you in a car that has a chance of placing (if it survives for the entire race). Not only is he a good driver, but also the second in command when it comes to repairs. When you join Dustin's team, be prepared to get your hands dirty. When you are on the Captains team you will find yourself being pushed to be the fastest on the track. Oh and watch out, he may try and get you to be a sponsor!

Kevin Richardson
Director of video production, research and fabrication
kevin@subparmotorsports.com
Kevin is the "smart guy" of the team. He will baffle you with scientific jargon that will keep you asking "what?". His driving style is consistently quick. When not at the track, Kevin is studying track lines, or playing the track in video game form. He calls it studying, we call it something else. Kevin's ability to maneuver the car around the track without hitting anything, or pushing it beyond its limits, sets him apart from the rest of the gang. His deep track and line knowledge will help any newcomer to quickly understand the fastest way around the track. Not only is Kevin head of the video department, but he is also the team welder. Join Kevin's team and hope you don't bend the car, cause if you do, you may find yourself learning all about metal work with on the job training.

Jason Koulouris
Chief Engineer
jason@subparmotorsports.com
Jason is Subpar Motorsports head mechanic. Though all of the team contributes to the shade tree wrenching, Jason always has the most grease under his finger nails. He is the wizard of repairs and is the mechanical shoulder the team leans on (go ahead and ask him how it's possible to fix an engine with Comet? Just don't expect a friendly answer). Jason's driving style is calculated and precise. This style of driving not only makes him fast, but reliable as well. Some even say he holds the team's track record at Thunderhill raceway. If you are a gear head, or just love to be under the hood, Jason's team will fit you perfectly. There is always a repair to be made.

Team web guy, oh, and family too
Bryan is an honorary team member by default. Though he may be Kevin's brother, he gains his honorary status on his own. If you are reading this, then well, you are seeing his great work and contribution to the team. Bryan has been racing with the team since their second official entry. His driving style is surprisingly quick for his experience level, and he keeps getting better.
